Classes/Sub-classes Empty
PostSubject: Classes/Sub-classes   Classes/Sub-classes Icon_minitimeWed Apr 29, 2009 9:17 pm

First thing most people notice is that there are only 4 Classes. Most people automatically assume, because there are such a low number of Classes, that the game is extremely limited. However, with having 14-16 sub-classes, the limitation is quickly rectified, and confusion soon sets in; especially with what sub-class a person would like to have. However, to make character creation relatively quick and simple, the game offers a Quiz system which makes it faster to choose a sub-class, stats, and starting spells for both a Soldier of Mana, and Mage.

The classes are as follows:

Mage

Benders of reality, shapers of creation. Mages have the ability to shoot fireballs out of their hands, control how flame reacts, and moves; Push air around like their little bitch, or even control the flow of Energy. Their focus is purely on magic, and they tend to be a little weak physically as compared to the rest of the classes.

Soldier of Mana

Soldiers of Mana have the ability to cast spells, very similarly to the way that Mages do. However, they are often more physical than Mages are, and are more along the lines of an 'Elemental' Paladin. These characters, in order to use their spells must transform into a 'Super Form' of themselves. This form can be either of themselves, as they are, with slightly changed clothing, or look entirely different.

Innocent

Innocents are whatever the other classes are not. They do not focus in over the top powers, so they are able to focus in more mundane things. They are a skill based class, and are capable of being anything from a hacker, to a mechanic, a soldier to a medic. Really, it is one of the most varied classes.

Geno Hunter

There are two types of Geno-Hunters. Each derive their power from the same source, but handle it differently, which lead to two unique paths for this Class. Their powers stem from their ability to manipulate their own genetic structure.

Type Ones
Type Ones embrace this power, and this allows them to absorb part of the genetic code from every enemy they kill. If they continue to kill enemies with wings, they will eventually grow wings. If they kill enemies that hunt by smell, their sense of smell will eventually develop to the point where they can do the same. The problem is, the more creatures or 'monsters' you kill, the farther away from being human you become. The character will eventually find themselves thinking more beastial, unless they rectify this solution (*cough kill humans cough*), which could arguably further remove them from their... uh... human-ness.

Type Twos
Type Twos are characters who deny themselves this power. In result, it manifests itself in a more violent fashion than that of the Type Ones. When the character is under a great deal of stress (such as the belief the character is going to die), then they will transform into a large, grotesque beast which is a representation of their inner self.
